Abstract

An experimental and clinical study of improved methods for applying colonic anastomoses was conducted.

An experimental study was conducted on 30 mongrel dogs. The results of treatment of 165 patients with acute sigmoid colon obstruction were analyzed. The study showed that the use of improved methods for applying colonic anastomoses significantly improved the results of treatment of acute sigmoid colon obstruction.
